Memory and Oblivion

Greek Anthology 11.67 (Macedonius the Consul, tr. W.R. Paton):
Memory and Oblivion, all hail! Memory I say in the case of good things, and Oblivion in the case of evil.

Μνήμη καὶ Λήθη, μέγα χαίρετον· ἡ μὲν ἐπ' ἔργοις
    Μνήμη τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς, ἡ δ' ἐπὶ λευγαλέοις.
